Who is responsible
Simon Leblanc is responsible for protecting the personal information received through this site. For any question or request: simon@leblancsimon.com.
What I collect
Only what you type in the form: your first name, your business name, your email and, if you provide them, your phone number, your website or Facebook page, and your message. If you use the chat, also what you write there (see below).
Why
To get back to you and prepare your demo, and, in scrambled form, to measure my Facebook ads (see “Cookies” below). I don't sell or lend your information to anyone.
Where it goes
Your information is kept in my customer management tool (GoHighLevel), whose servers may be located outside Québec. The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Meta (Facebook), whose servers are in the United States, receives part of it, scrambled: see “Cookies” below.
The chat
The "Ask me your questions" button opens a virtual assistant. It's an AI, not Simon live, and it tells you so in its first message. The chat tool (GoHighLevel) only loads if you click that button: before that, nothing is sent.
Once open, it keeps your messages and, if you provide them, your first name and email, in the same tool as the form, so Simon can get back to you. It also stores a session identifier and your visit history in your browser (local storage, not a cookie), to link the conversation to you.
How long
If you don't become a client, your information is deleted 2 years after our last exchange. If you do, it is kept during our engagement, then for 6 years, the period tax laws require for records.
Your rights
At any time, you can ask me to see, correct or delete your information, or withdraw your consent. Write to me at simon@leblancsimon.com.
Cookies
This site uses one tracking tool: the Meta (Facebook) pixel, which helps me measure my ads. It is off by default and only turns on if you click “Accept” in the banner. Once on, it sets Meta cookies (such as _fbp) and tells Meta which pages of this site you visit.
You can change your mind at any time with “Manage my cookies” at the bottom of the home page. Your choice is kept in your browser.
One exception: when you send the form, Meta is told that a request was sent, even without consent, and this may set a Meta cookie. Your email, phone number and first name are then sent scrambled in a way that can't be reversed (hashed), never in plain text, only to link the request to an ad. My customer management tool (GoHighLevel) may also pass this same notice to Meta, server to server.
This site uses no other tracking or advertising cookies.
